Wellness & Lifestyles Australia has commenced providing the W&L ACFI Site Analysis and Recommendations Report, analysing site’s current ACFI situation, in conjunction with current resources available, to determine the increase in funding available through the ACFI Complex Health Care (CHC) domain.
This information is then provided to the site in the form of our W&L ACFI Site Analysis & Recommendations Report, whicho utlines which residents can be reappraised immediately for increased funding, by determining site specific strategies, and an action plan for th next 12 months. Our unique process is outlined below.
Initial Consultation
By analysing your site’s current ACFI situation, in conjunction with current resources available, one of our consultants is able to determine the increase in funding available through the ACFI Complex Health Care domain. This information is then provided to the site in the form o four W&L ACFI Site Analsysis & Recommendations Report, which outlines which residens can be reappraised immediatley for increased funding, by determining site specific strategies, and an action plan for the next 12 months. This takes into consideration the resident’s current rates and the ACFI business rules regarding reappraisals, capped rate, RCS-Saved Rate, etc.
Our consultant will then, while on site, deliver an education session ‘W&L ACFI Complex Health Care Education’, a session for all levels of staff involved in providing therapy and complex health care for aged care residents. Topics include an overview of the ACFI, the ACFI Complex Health Care domain, what is needed to support ACFI directives, providing the therapy (including practical examples), and business rules for appraisals. This will be to assist all staff involved in the process in their understanding of the ACFI, and to ensure maximal substantiation at validation.
Subsequent Consultations
A consultant will then perform regular Quality Management Visits to follow up on the W&L ACFI Site Analysis & Recommendations Report to discuss the action plan and to ensure maximal substantiation at validation.
